About
Professor Nizar Bitar is a hematologist and medical oncologist in Beirut and Chief of Staff at Sahel General Hospital, where he has led hematology-oncology care since 1992. Over more than four decades in practice, he has cared for patients with cancer and blood diseases, authored more than 50 peer-reviewed studies, taught as professor of medicine at the Lebanese University, and served as a founding member and past president of the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology. He treats a wide range of adult cancers and blood disorders, pairing current, evidence-based therapy with care that treats the person, never the case number.
